This logbook is designed for recording maintenance activities, defects and repairs of bridge and navigation equipment. It has instructions on how to complete the record sheets and includes example sheets indicating the type of information to be recorded. It may be produced for inspection to demonstrate compliance with IMO requirements.
In line with IMO guidelines, any defects, maintenance activities or repairs of bridge/navigation equipment should be recorded in this Logbook. It should act as a full record of defects/repairs, with separate entries made for each defect/repair. It should be kept on the bridge and made available for inspection when requested.
